eCommerce Operations Manager

RuffleButts, Inc. is a brand manufacturer of children's apparel for girls and boys.  We've been in business for 11+ years and are located in Grapevine, TX.  We're a fun, growing company, with appearances on ABC's Shark Tank, Ellen DeGeneres and more!

The primary function of this position is to manage our eCommerce Operations.  This includes our fulfillment personnel, warehouse, pick/pack/ship functions, as well as various other operational oversights.   You'll proactively be responsible for ensuring our orders across various channels ship in an accurate and timely manner, shipments are received->counted->put away quickly/accurately and that our fulfillment team / processes are always operating at optimum capacity.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound shipments into our warehouse and ensure quantities are accurate tracked and entered into our corporate ERP (Inventory Management System)
  • Use our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to update perform inventory cycle counts to ensure absolutely accurate inventory counts
  • Manage our fulfillment personnel who'll assist you with shipment check-ins, cycle counts and warehouse organization
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept organized, safe and clean at all times
  • Work closely with our production, order fulfillment and website teams to keep inventory flowing thru the warehouse quickly and accurately
  • Handle HR processes for our fulfillment team, including hiring, disciplinary, reviews, etc.
  • For example, you will:
    • Work each morning with our retail and wholesale fulfillment teams to ensure necessary orders are picked each day
    • Work with our production team to schedule time to check-in shipments
    • Work with our website team to determine / confirm which items should be marked down for sale

You:

  • Are extremely organized and detail-oriented. You will be working within efficient systems and be expected to precisely execute our processes, while also contributing to improving those processes.
  • Possess the ability to multi-task in a hectic role, while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy across all open items.
  • Have experience in setting up and managing a warehouse and fulfillment personnel/processes.
  • Are passionate about organization. It's a large 17,000 square foot warehouse and you'll always need to know where everything's at!
  • Demonstrate initiative, perseverance, autonomy, and efficiency on a daily basis.
  • Enjoy working in small, tight-knit teams, in a fast-paced environment. You'll be an extremely important member of our team and will have the direct ability to turn effort into results.
  • Are interested in learning about the children's apparel business (no previous experience necessary).
  • Have an infectious, positive attitude that will lift your co-workers, customers, and surrounding team.
  • Are a go-getter with the drive to succeed, and ready to show the world what you have to offer.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with inventory / warehouse / stock room management
  • History of being an overly organized perfectionist, along with continued desire to learn and improve.
